What I offer....
I am a labor/birth doula. I also offer Childbirth Education classes.
As your doula I will provide you with 2-3 prenatal visits. This is a time for us to get to know each other and for me to gain insight on your views and wishes about your birth. It also gives us a chance to practice relaxation techniques that will help in labor.
I will support you emotionally and educationally throughout your pregnancy and be there to answer any questions you may have or feelings you need to explore.
I will attend you in your labor and delivery.
I also offer one post natal visit. This is an opportunity to discuss your birth and for me to answer any new born, postpartum or breastfeeding questions you may have.
I do have a back up doula that is available, you can meet with her upon request.
My fee is $350.00. I ask for half of this at our next prenatal visit, this will secure your estimated due date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your date. I believe that all women who need a doula should have one, that said, I'm willing to work for a sliding fee, or if you have a business of your own we can barter
I am certified to teach childbirth education classes through Wonderfully Made and Work of Heart Childbirth. Wonderfully Made is a Christian centered version that looks at what the Bible says about pregnancy and birth. They are both complete and comprehensive programs.
CBE classes are $50.00 per couple, for a 6 week session.
